Skid Assembly

We can work with integrators and engineering firms to assemble skid designs contracted by end users as part of a sophisticated manufacturing process line.

Skid assembly involves offsite prefabrication of process assemblies that can be large or small and include piping, electrical, and control systems in a single unit. This is a unique facet of the business that requires electrical knowledge and expertise in installing and verifying various control systems. IPC works as part of a contract team, providing their installation expertise per the skid design. The result is a fully contained, completed process assembly ready for delivery to the customers’ site for integration into their workflow.

Applications include water processing for treatment facilities and chemical manufacturing, clean room environment pharmaceutical manufacturing, and other sensitive process-oriented industries.

IPC has worked with integrators and engineering firms assisting in the assembly of stand-alone skids:

  • BWT – engineering, then they hire pipefitters and electricians to assemble
  • Water Technologies
  • Dakota Systems
A machine that is in the middle of a room.
